Fashion Juice Latest Shoe Finds

It was a tiring Monday for Fashion Juice as we all headed out to two malls and one outlet! Imagine that. What’s even worse is that we left home past noon! We first headed out to a posh mall at Willow Bend, Plano TX, and ate lunch there (because we had large Campania Pizzas for brunch). I’ll talk about it later on for my shopping guide posts.

So after that, we went to Princeton Shepard Place also in Plano. There’s a huge Nordstrom Rack there where there were gorgeous belts and sunglasses. We were in a hurry so I wasn’t able to go around too long. After that, we headed out to Allen Premium Outlets. YAY (jumpin’ for joy)! More about that later on but I’m here to feature our new shoe finds.

Jessica Simpson Performs at the Texas State Fair in Dallas

Last October 17, I was fortunate enough to watch another show at the Texas State Fair here in Dallas, Texas. This time, it was Jessica Simpson on the stage. Though I’m not a real fan of Jessica Simpson, I don’t mind listening to her and watch another Hollywood celebrity. LOL!

Jessica Simpson’s hometown is in fact Dallas. So it was like a homecoming concert for her. The show was at 8:30 PM. We came early to check out other shows, exhibits, and displays that we’ve missed previously. Imagine to our surprise that just a little past 6 PM, there were already a lot of people reserving their spots near the stage. So at just about 7 PM, we know we had to position ourselves and wait as well. Tony Romo, Jessica Simpson’s boyfriend and Dallas Cowboys’ Quarterback, was there supporting her. Aww. And you know what? She sang a lot of songs dedicated to her dear BF. So sweet. She sang 10 songs. Her intro was “These Boots are Made for Walking” and her final song is from her latest album “Come on Over”. Aside from those two, she sang songs dedicated to her BF, heart break songs from EXes, tribute to Dolly Parton, and a song inspired by his minister Dad. Happy Birthday to my Mom!

Today is my mom’s birthday… where Fashion Juice inherited the love of fashion. Back when I was little, and she was still in her 40s up until 50s or so, I would always see her buying the latest trends. She loved purple and animal prints so much but at that time I was deadpan. However, once she’s out of her room, I’d try her shoes, bags, dresses, and even makeup! Haha! Also, she always bought matching shoes, bags, and clothing. So you’ll understand why I have to buy new shoes whenever I have a new bag or vice versa. Now you know where I got my sense of style.

It’s really sad that I’m not home to celebrate with her. In fact, this is the first time I’ll be missing her birthday. Last year, I went home during her bday, but I did miss my Dad’s. No international travels for Fashion Juice this year though. So hopefully next year, I get to go home. I’m hoping that next time it will be during my Dad’s bday so atleast they’re even. LOL. So anyway, just want to greet the best mom in the world, a happy birthday. Thanks for loving and taking care of me… and of course for being patient with me. So for that, I’m giving her something special… This doesn’t even match up to how much I treasure and love her. In fact, nothing will even equal that… “For the best mom, my bestfriend, my significant other who knows everything about me… and even if I get impatient and mad when teaching her to use the laptop (LOL), she still understands me and she knows I just get carried away. And that it doesn’t even matter coz she knows I love her soooo much coz I tell her that everyday! Love you Ma!” Now that’s enough mushy stuff for the day.

Yup, Beyonce is InStyle magazine’s November cover! It seems that it has been a tradition for Fashion Juice to feature InStyle magazine’s latest cover… and today, it’s Beyonce’s turn.

To your right is the November 2008 issue of InStyle Magazine where Beyonce is featured. Perhaps it’s timely to showcase the world’s highest paid POP star in the music industry because of her 2 new singles being release a few days ago. Yest, Beyonce is the highest paid POP star. I’ll share with you the other highest paid celebrities once I get the chance. Hopefully soon. So, let’s get started. Reopening of Burberry Flagship Store on Wilshire Boulevard

The Burberry Flagship Store on Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills has reopened! Now it’s back and better than ever as people say. I too, am a Burberry lover. I have been eyeing on Burberry bags for years too. But for now, I need to get my priorities straight, that is Chanel and Louis Vuitton. Hahaha!

Now take a look at Liv Tyler at the Burberry Opening. Seems she ripped me off of my clothes! This is exactly what I was wearing the other night at the Jessica Simpson concert except that my blazer was as black as my denims and the shirt I’m wearing was white and the face is in black. Liv Tyler must have seen my post. Hahaha. I’m just kidding… or dreaming. The point is, I’m telling you blazers, black tight jeans/pants/leggings, and goth and edgy style is in.
