Easy to Cook: Blackened Tilapia Fillets

It’s been awhile since I got the chance to feature a recipe that’s why I’m making one now.
After all, I am trying to limit myself from too much fashion posts because I get the urge to shop while doing it. Haha! I mean come on! If you were me, doing posts about shopping, you get to see all sorts of stuff. And the more options you see, the more you’ll find something that you want. That means – more expense! Anyway, so here, I’m taking a break from all the shopping gaga. I don’t however, want to disappoint my fashion readers. So don’ worry. It’s just like having a coffee or tea break after too much eating (or shopping in this case). After all, ladies have to serve their loved ones, right? Don’t just focus too much in the shopping, be a well-rounded fashionista! Learn to add fashion to everyday activities such as cooking. Let’s learn how to glam up that Tilapia!
The Blackened Tilapia Fillets is a great way to enjoya healthy fish dinner. You’ll need 10 minutes to prepare this dish and another 5 minutes to cook. If you’re on a rush, this is a great dish to cook. This recipe yields 4 servings. Enjoy!
What you’ll need:
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 3/4 tsp White Pepper
- 3/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Thyme
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 4 Tilapia fillets
- Lemon wedges (optional)
How to cook it:
- Preheat large heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
- In shallow dish combine paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, white pepper, black pepper, and thyme.
- Pour melted butter into another shallow dish. Dip fillets in butter and then in paprika mixture. Turn to coat evenly.
- Carefully arrange fillets in preheated skillet. Cook 2 minutes per side until fillets are blackened and flake easily with a fork, Season with salt to taste. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired. Enjoy your Blackened tilapia fillet! Now that’s a quick and easy dinner to make.
