Simple Celebrity Fashion Tips

Just like us, celebrities aren’t always in the mood to dress up. Who would want to wear killer heels 24/7 right? Like Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad, Hilary Duff, and Lindsay Lohan, among many other celebs, we all have those days when we don’t want to dress up. We don’t really need to wear makeup everyday do we? And we don’t always have the time to prepare 1 or 2 hours before heading out? And what about those long and painful flights? So here, Fashion Juice will teach you some tips on how to glam it up when you’re feeling like “one of those days”!

I know, like me, we’re not celebrities, and we don’t have to be concerned about those things. But like I always say, it’s good to be presentable at all times. You’ll never know when you’re gonna run into someone,  be caught on camera, or suddenly make an unplanned visit to some high-end place. So let me show you some simple celebrity fashion tips that will make a dull outfit glam.

  1. I know how comfy big T-shirts are. But honestly, you may just look like a slob, and you don’t want that. Don’t wear shirts that are too comfy you can just sleep in them. You can wear a loose tee without looking sloppy.
    • Look for loose tees that cut just right after your navel, or at least  1 to 1-1/2 inches below that. Anything beyond that will look trashy.
    • However, if you want something longer to cover perhaps tummy or thigh problems, get a tee that’s either sleeveless, or fit on the top, like a swing top. You get to showcase your thin shoulders and upper body and let the loose bottom of the shirt take care of the rest.
    • Also, make sure that the neckline shows a little skin. I’m not telling you to be revealing, but to compromise what you’re hiding behind the loose bottom half of your shirt, the top part must not be too old fashioned.
    • DONT: turtleneck (unless winter), polo shirt closed all the way up
  2. So you’re just wearing a tee. Even if it fits you well, it’s still a tee. Glam it up with accessories! I’m not telling you to wear a hundred bangles or necklaces for that matter. You can go for simple accessories that make bold statements. This way, accessories will dominate your tee.
    • Oversized shades. Yes, they’re still hot and they’re not leaving the fashion world anytime soon. Just think Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Gucci, Chanel, Dior, and Fendi sunglasses…
    • Statement bag. A statement bag is pretty much like saying a designer bag or something to that effect. We all know the popular bags out there like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Balenciaga, Gucci, Fendi, Prada, Hermes, Goyard, and so on. But the best types of bags you can wear with just a tee would be big totes, shoulder bags, and oversized top handles. Try Balenciaga City!
    • DONT: bags that are too dressy, or generally smaller bags
    • If you don’t have that much budget to get a designer bag just yet, go for exotic-looking big bags. Go for bright colored ones so they would pop up and glam up your drab outfit. Snakeskin or crocodile material would be good even if it’s not the real thing.
    • Any other accessory such as a scarf, belt, vest, hat, big watch, one bold bangle, one noticeable necklace, or hoop earrings will glam up any plain number.
  3. Who says you can only wear jeans or shorts if you’re feeling drab? Wear leggings instead. They’re comfy and light. Makes you feel like you’re wearing nothing below. Haha.
  4. And one more thing, perhaps it’s time to buy those t-shirt dresses, short halter dresses, or maxi dresses. You just pull them in and you’re done!
  5. The big dreaded shoe. No tennis shoes or sneakers please… unless they look classy and cute. There are tons of other comfy shoe options like flats, thongs, flip flops, gladiators, Ugg boots or any other boots.
  6. Lastly, remember to keep a bright face.
    • Grab your compact or light powder and a facial brush. Quickly brush that face with powder.
    • Put on tinted lip gloss.
    • And if you feel like it, roll up some mascara.
    • If you’re having a bad hair day, go with a clean pony or do a side pony tail instead. If not, put on a hat.

So, here, take a look at some of the basic tees Celebrities like Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad, Hilary Duff, and Lindsay Lohan wear. Click on them to know where to buy them. (I’m not getting paid to feature them). :)

  1. You really don’t have to drag yourself to get that celebrity look that you really wanted. Sometimes simplicity counts. Thus, sometimes also being presentable is likewise very agreeable.

  2. Yes that’s true. That’s why in my tips I specifically said that if you’d like to wear shirt and jeans, just make sure to be NOT sloppy. It’s always best to be presentable. Basic, simple, and classic will always be in trend. I’m not featuring the outfits of the celebs in the pictures. I’m pointing out the shirts/tanks/tees they are wearing. Just check out the white tank top Paris is wearing. It’s a basic tee that anyone can wear with just anything. :) Sorry if you were misled by the post, but the purpose of this post is to SHOW HOW A BASIC OUTFIT CAN ALSO NOT LOOK BASIC. :)
