I am so lucky. I found that Texas offers tax-free shopping for international visitors as well as for US Residents and Citizens who will be sending the goods outside Texas or US. Sending gifts to friends or families outside the US qualify! Either way, my brother-in-law is coming over and he could refund sales tax on his purchases and whatever we’ll be sending with him too, hehe. • WHAT: Before leaving Texas and the USA, you may request a sales tax refund. SAVE by receiving a refund of the Texas Sales Tax paid on purchases in Texas! TaxFree Shopping, Ltd.’s service centers for Texas Sales Tax refunds are conveniently located at:
• HOW: Show your passport, I-94 (White or green card in your passport), US visa (If required for your country), boarding Pass/Flight Information (e-tickets are acceptable) if flying, original sales receipts and purchased items (unused or looked unused, hehe). A minimum of $10.00 of Texas sales tax per store location is required.
