Fashion At The Park, the very first fashion show I’m going to (US)… I’m so thrilled and excited!!! I know it’s not the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York or LA (not to mention London, Paris, Milan), but who cares? I still get to see the collection up front and be able to see the designers in real life. And besides, I better start attending these fashion shows for the sake my fashion site, right?

I’m doing this not just for my love of fashion but to be able to bring to you, my readers, the latest events happening in the fashion world. If you’re from North TX, then perhaps you might be interested to go too. The event is happening at the North Park Center in Dallas. So what’s in store for you? I’ll share with you the details below.

From New York, Milan, Paris, London and more, all roads lead to NorthPark Center October 10-16. Fashion at the Park, presented by Cadillac, showcases the best of the fall 2008 collections, all of which can be found at NorthPark Center stores.

Nonstop excitement, on and off the runway.

Rub shoulders with fashion luminaries, celebrities and fashionistas at Fashion at the Park’s runway shows, parties, events, beauty classes and trunk shows. Before the shows in the luxury tents, sip Moët & Chandon Champagne and cocktails featuring Belvedere Vodka and 10 Cane Rum. At the parties, sample cuisine by celebrity Chef John Tesar of the legendary Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. While backstage, models and crew nosh on Catwalk Cuisine provided by Central Market. See and be seen in the Capital One Bank Lounge, where guests enjoy the energy of the fashionable crowd while DJ Lucy Wrubel entertains.

And of course, I’m sure you want to know about the schedule. I’m going on a Saturday especially because of the CFDA Fashion Show. I wanted to go to Roberto Cavalli’s but it’s already sold out. Also wanted to go to Oscar de la Renta’s, Bobbi Brown’s, Carolina Herrera’s, Valentino’s, and Marc Bouwer’s, but unfortunately, I can’t go on a weekday. Bummer. So anyway, here’s the schedule.
