Sex and The City is known for its stylish outfits and luxury labels. So what do you think would Hollywood celebrities wear to its premier? Let’s find out here. (Can’t wait to watch it this weekend!!!)
Let’s start with the first four… Of course, you’re pretty sure the Sex And The City Movie stars would definitely wear something spectacular… Kim Cattrall (Samantha) went for a Vivienne Westwood dress while Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie) donned a Nina Ricci bustier. Kristin Davis (Charlotte) glowed in a Donna Karan while Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) opted for Narciso Rodriguez. I’d say all of them looked fabulous despite some critics not loving their dresses (except SJP’s).
Amy Adams (from movie Gone Baby Gone) goes chic and simple while Ashley Olsen (teen billionaire, the other Olsen twin) goes corporate… perhas she got tired of the glam life of dressing to impress???
Even moms Bette Midler and Caroline Rhea (Sabrina, Teenage witch) dressed for the event. However, I’d say Caroline’s red dress and pumps were too much… she should have opted for a long cover up and flats… I don’t suggest preggy women wearing heels… please be responsible.
Chris Noth (Mr. Big) was dapper as usual and his main accessory was his gf Tara. The yellow dress is okay but she should wear an appropriate bra (that is if she is wearing one) to lift her asset. Christian Siriano (winner of Project Runway) looked like whatelse… a designer! He also brought a hot date with him.
David Eigenberg (Miranda’s Steve) is looking clean and suave but his wife Chrysti may have thought they were going to the derby or a private club afternoon party. David Lauren (son of Ralph Lauren) is sleek and cozy with gf Lauren Bush, designer of the earth friendly bag FEED. I applaud her for bringing her bag to spread awareness. Although maybe she should simply hand-carry the bag so it won’t ruin her lovely evening outfit.
Dean Winters (30 Rock) and gf Kelly Hulbert both looked fresh. Donald Trump was his usual self while wife Melania definitely rocked her Spring outfit! Love it!
Edie Falco was okay but the linen pants doesn’t match the top and the event. Eli Manning and wife Abby McGrew are like Ken and Barbie.
Fergie… I can’t decide whether I love your outfit or not. But it actually reminds me of Carrie’s outfits in the SATC TV series so perhaps the outfit is actually right for the event. Emmy Rossum is looking fabulous in her tube dress, gorgeous sandals, and perfect accessories – diamonds and clutch. Perhaps its one of my fave looks of the night.
I know prints are in but Gayle King’s outfit isn’t exactly the print were looking for. I like Giuliana Rancic’s dress… it’s perfect for a White Party or beach-themed party as well.
Idina Menzel was okay but I would prefer no straps… Jason Lewis looked like the hunk colleague.
Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld were looking great… I just don’t think the black dress should have the white belt as it covers the detail of the dress. Jilly Hennessy’s dress matched her gladiator-inspired sandals but I don’t feel it appropriate for an SATC movie premiere.
Perhaps Lil Kim really looked for a dress and sandals that would match the colors of the SATC poster? I so love Lorraine Bracco’s sandals. I recently saw Michelle Yeoh wearing a similar pair in metallic color.
Socialite Lydia Hearst actually has that Carrie-ish style going but I’m caught in between liking it and trashing it. Mario Cantone (SATC) is looking perfect.
Mary J. Blige and hubby Kendu Isaac looked like a happy and sweet couple with taste. On the other hand, I think Michelle Williams overdressed.
Molly Sims dress…. no comment. Patricia Field (SATC designer) is as usual wild in her choice of outfits. I just wish she would get rid of her red color… it makes her look old.
Regis and Joy Philbin (at 76 and 67) were still looking young for their age. And wife Joy was wearing a classy and sophisticate outfit that will put the other youngsters here to shame. I totally love her style. Jennifer Hudson on the other hand seems to improve… Although she still has a lot to work on.
Lastly, men will never go wrong with classic suits…
