I have been wanting to buy a digital photo frame ever since I first found out about it. Last Thanksgiving 2007, I was able to buy two Trutech Digital Photo Frames for only $49 each. The size I got was 7″. I got mine at Target for a very cheap price.

NOTE: For those who haven’t heard of this techy gadget, it’s a photo frame that plays a slideshow of digital images from a memory card (SD, XD, Flash, etc).

I gave the other digiframe as a gift to my Mom and Dad. Now, I have promised that I’ll be sending one to my hubby’s Mom and Dad next time. Since I’m sending a package this month, I started looking for an affordable nice digital photo frame. I found one at Westcoastmall and decided to get it. However it was $59.00 for a 7″ frame. So I thought maybe I could still find a better deal. I found one at Walmart. It was only $5 cheaper but it was smaller, 5.6″. However, I decided to get it. Why? Because now only does it have a free 1G memory card, but it can also play videos and MP3 music! Mine only played photos in a slideshow. It arrived yesterday, and though small, me and hubby were so delighted! We could play video files! We played our video of his birthday, we played TV series, movies, etc! It was great… The only thing lacking is a remote control. Other than that, it works fine! So we decided to keep this and give the other almost new one Trutech Digital Photo Frame to his parents.
