At this very moment, I’m watching (on TV) the Oscars live at the Kodak Theater! So far, I’ve seen Jennifer Garner, Hilary Swank, Penelope Cruz, Ellen Page, Helen Mirren, Keri Russell, Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, Laura Linney, and George Clooney with his date. I’d say Jennifer Garner, Cameron Diaz, Laura Linney, and Jessica Alba all look great! I like Laura Linney – simple but elegant! Renee Zellweger looks stunning. I don’t like Penelope Cruz’ dress (take it back, it’s fab). But we’ll see, I have to check out the Red Carpet photos for the real deal…
* UPDATE:
Most number of wins goes to Best Motion Picture Winner: No Country For Old Men (4 wins: Writing Adapted Screenplay, Best Picture, Directing, Supporting Actor). Borne Ultimatum has 3 wins: Film Editing, Sound Editing, and Sound Mixing. Ratatouille won Best Animation! (congrats to Remy and Pompom, este Linguini). Best Cinematography goes to There Will Be Blood. Juno got the Best Writing for original screenplay. Golden Compass took home Best Visual Effects. Best Costume Design goes to Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Best Make Up goes to La Vie En Rose.
Best supporting actress, Tilda Swinton (Michael Clayton)

Lovely Presenter Jen in Oscar de la Renta

Stunning Nominee Laura Linney in Michael Kors gown and Cathy Waterman jewels

Penelope Cruz - I’m not so into your Chanel dress (though feathers were recently seen in the runway)… I take it back, I’ve seen her present the Foreign Film award, the dress was stunning! TRIVIA: Penelope Cruz also wore a lovely peach/pink dress with feathers in the 79th Academy Awards (2007 Oscars).
Winner Tilda Swinton – wrong shoes, wrong dress

Stunning Renee Zellweger in Carolina Herrera

Blooming Presenter Cate Blanchett in Dries van Noten and Preggy Jessica Alba in Marchesa

Another lovely presenter, Nicole Kidman is also preggy yet still looking fabulous and sexy with the bump and her Balenciaga gown

Two Stunning Presenters: Cameron Diaz in John Galliano and Hilary Swank in Versace

What’s wrong with this couple?

Totally off! Best Actor Daniel Day-Lewis – The shoes? The earrings? The Hair? and the Wife – The ribbon? The ornament?

Diddy looking good… Miley Cyrus (Hannah Montana) looking like a lady in a red Valentino

What’s with the Cleopatra look Diablo Cody (Best writing: original screenplay for Juno)?

It’s okay to shave and color your hair Viggo Mortensen (Best Actor Nominee)… Ellen Page (BestActress Nominee), please pick a more flattering dress (Jean Louis Scherrer)

Ladies in red: Heidi Klum in John Galliano gown and presenter Anne Hathaway in Marchesa
(also in red are Helen Mirren, Miley Cyrus, Katherine Heigl, Julie Christie, Anne Jeffreys, and Ruby Dee)

Very unique Roberto Cavalli dress Jennifer Hudson… sorry but I don’t think it’s Red Carpet material.
Presenter Amy Adams in Proenza Schoeler: not so good in this pic, but okay when she was presenting…

Perfect couple John Travolta and Kelly Preston, perfect dress!

Beautiful Keri Russell in a Nina Ricci. Marion Cotillard is a beauty. But the Jean Paul Gaultier dress? The top was stunning but deteriorates towards the end… pretty much looks like a mermaid don’t you think?

I wonder where these girls are going? Cynthia Wade and Vanessa Roth won short documentary for Free Held. George Clooney is getting old but still handsome. His date? A young Sarah Larson with a very sad dress. Ladies, please choose a more appropriate dress next time.

Stacy London from the TV show “What not to wear”
- Hmm? Is this something to wear or not to wear? I cant really say from this angle. Maybe if we get a better picture we’ll see if the dress is red carpet material or not. Nonetheless, she reminds me of Morticia Adams…

Johny Depp applying for Harry Potter

Lovely Keisha Whitaker and Forest Whitaker

FASHION JUICE PICKS: Jen’s Oscar de la Renta, Renee’s Carolina Herrera, Keri’s Nina Ricci, and Keisha’s gown… I wonder who’s the talented designer behind it…

Re: 4th row from the bottom, caption: “I wonder where these girls are going?”
Honey, they’re going to win an Oscar. That’s Cynthia Wade and Vanessa Roth, winners of the documentary short subject.
Fashion Juice: I know Ali B. I’ve seen them receive the Oscar! Big congratulations to them! I was just referring to their outfit (more of Vanessa Roth’s). It’s just my opinion that the dress doesn’t look too formal or approriate for the event regardless of brand or label.

[...] You think you can pull it off like Heidi did at the 2008 Oscars? Blake: Oh, her John Galliano dress? I’m going to look way better than that. I will stand out. I’ve got a RACK! Thanks [...]
