The past few days as I’ve said, have been busy. Manny Pacquiao coming to Dallas got all Filipinos here, including us, excited and wanting to see him in person. But anyhow, let me share with you some videos of the boxing fight “The Event: Pacquiao vs Clottey” which I was able to take from where we were seated.
For $45 tickets, our section was not so bad. In fact, we enjoyed it so much. This experience is such a memorable one. Just getting inside that huge and beautiful Dallas Cowboys stadium, seeing the entrance and top open automatically was already enough for that price. It was indeed a breath-taking experience. And watching fellow Filipino Manny Pacquiao among many other boxers, made it even more special. And to be part of history – the first boxing event at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium with over 51,000 people watching (3rd highest in boxing history), our $45 was nothing compared to that experience. Anyway, check out some of the videos I took below.

Forgive me for not posting too much photos for the past two weeks. It’s just that I have been enjoying a much needed break. LOL. Too many things happening such as a friend visiting and watching “The Event: Pacquiao vs Clottey” and a couple of dinners at friends’ houses. Before I share with you my goodies and freebies for the past two weeks, let me share with you the delicious meals we’ve had… this is really bad, considering that Spring is coming up this weekend and before you know it, it’s gonna be Summer soon. Gotta lose those pounds! LOL!
By the way, forgive the photos because they were from the iPhone.
The night before the Pacquiao-Clottey fight, we had really delicious pancit (noodles) along with some delicious fish, kilawin and pork. Ate Marissa cooks really well. YUMMY!!! We couldn’t stay that long though ‘coz we promised to take our friend (from California) to a Dallas Club for the Pacquiao pre-party. I will probably post something all about it soon.

“How to wear a big bold bib necklace? Should your top always have to be in a solid color?? I love bib necklaces but i also love printed tops! How to match the two?
Thanks a lot. More power!

Oh I really envy all fashionistas living in New York. You really do have access to all the great sample sales and pop-up stores. Coming up this Thursday until Sunday is the Decadestwo Pop-up store that will feature a one-day shoe bonanza… and when I say shoe bonanza, I’m talking about $150 or less Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin shoes among others. Oh yeah, you heard that right. Waaaaaaaaaaaa… crazy indeed!
That shoe bonanza will be happening on Sunday, March 21st.
The Decadestwo Pop-up store will be located at Kiki de Montparnasse, 79 Greene Street, (at Spring Street) in New York!
On Thursday, March 18th, until Saturday, March 20th, they will be open from 11 am to 7 pm. On Sunday, March 21st, you can check them out from 12 pm to 5 pm. And to give you an idea of what items will be there, check these photos out!

Sorry if I haven’t been posting a lot of fashion-related posts. Well, I have been busy and still sick. Watching “The Event: Pacquiao vs Clottey”, didn’t help me recover. But now, I’m feeling better. I still have cough and colds though. But hopefully, by tomorrow, I’ll be back to my regular fashion posts… for now, I’ll just give you a sneak peek of my first Alexander McQueen (RIP) piece.
I’m excited to feature it in my weekly wear posts!
I made sure to get my first Alexander McQueen when Gilt Groupe had featured it in one of their sales… especially now that he has just passed away.
Too sad… but I’m glad I have a piece of his design to keep with me forever…
And what’s even better is that it’s again FREE… thanks to you dear readers who have joined Gilt Groupe.
An Alexander McQueen piece is no joke. It’s not cheap. This tank top costs more than $60! Yes, a simple tank top for $60. If I had no shopping credits, I wouldn’t get it. LOL. You know I’m cheap when it comes to clothing. I splurge more on bags!
Anyways, if you haven’t registered with Gilt Groupe for free, click HERE.

Have you tried Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen? Hopefully this restaurant review I’m about to share with you encourages you to try out Pappadeaux. Obviously, this means that I enjoyed our lunch here.
Well, of course. Who wouldn’t love such a lovely restaurant with excellent service and humongous and delicious food to boast? Before I start our Pappadeaux experience, here are a few things I have to share about Pappadeaux…
P.S.
Photos were taken from iPhone, Olympus, and Google maps. LOL.

Now the story behind the founder/owner…
From the day he first learned to string a line, C. H. Pappadeaux was hooked on fishing. And it took him exactly no time at all to become the very best. There wasn’t a single creature in the sea he couldn’t bring in. Of course, there was that one time he brought in two. Many years ago, C. H. was hauling in the last of his nets, when his boat was suddenly smashed to pieces, knocking him oars over elbows right into the Gulf!
Floundering for air, he caught sight of two of the most gigantic mahi-mahi that had ever lived! Boatless, but otherwise unscathed, C.H. caught a hold of some fishing line, tied it to those monster fish, and proceeded to plant one foot on each of their backs! Before he knew it, C. H. was ridin’ those babies all the way back to the French Quarter like he was king of the sea! Needless to say, the feast that night was incredible.
Today, C.H.’s legacy lives on in every dish we serve at Pappadeaux. From the bold flavors of our fresh-from-the-boat seafood, to our outstanding service, we’re carrying on the Pappadeaux tradition of being the best there is.
