Today officially marks the 3rd Birthday of My Fashion Juice. YAY!!! I haven’t been posting a lot because as you can see, I’ve been working on a new look for my fashion site. I want it to be clean and more mature-looking. I know it hasn’t been too long since I’ve changed the look of my site, but I want to continuously improve My Fashion Juice for you, My Dear Readers.
And for My Fashion Juice’s 3rd Birthday post, let’s go back to the past three years that made this fashion blog where it is right now. Prepare to be taken back to memory lane…

It’s Weekly Wear time once more and today I’m featuring what I wore to file our taxes last Monday. LOL. I’m a Forever 21 baby here ‘coz everything’s from Forever 21 except for the boots. LOL! At the same time, I incorporated different stripes and houndstooth print in red, white, and blue colors. Again, this is a very casual look.
Where to Wear

“Hi MFJ, can you do a feature of this bag with price? Thanks!”

The moment I saw the Prada Perforated Saffiano Tote, I knew I had to share it with you. I definitely see this as a classy bag for Spring. It’s a shopping tote but it looks just as classy as any other leather hobo or medium bag. It doesn’t deserve to be a shopper but a bag to match a flowing floral maxi dress or a tie dye skirt… the Spring fashion… the works!
For $1,350, the Prada Perforated Saffiano tote comes with a gold hardware, shoulder straps with rings, a magnetic closure, and best of all… a detachable zip pouch! I love it! The size of this bag is 12 9/10″H x 14″W x 5 9/10″. And of course, this bag is made in Italy. I love it! This bag comes in three colors. I love this camel color below.

The other colors are… (more…)

I know it’s the middle of the week and Weekly Wear isn’t supposed to be up until the weekend (duh me?). LOL! But I was just feeling bored and wanted to share with you what I wore last week while shopping at NorthPark… The shopaholic and brandaholic eyes were satisfied… but it would have been better if I took home a purse or wallet perhaps? LOL! That would have made the hungry shopaholic and brandaholic full for at least a month or two. LOL!
Let’s go to dreamland and pretend we were in Paris… what would My Fashion Juice do???

Marc by Marc Jacob spring/summer totes for under $200 seems to be a very pretty good deal for a Valentines Day gift don’t you think? Your lady love will definitely enjoy a new tote to carry to the beach or to any outing this spring/summer. At the same time, your pockets won’t go as broke if and when you go for a Chanel, LV, Gucci, Bottega, Fendi, Balenciaga, or Hermes for that matter. And besides, who wants to carry those expensive and high maintenance bags to the beach, right? That’s a big OUCH! Imagine all the possible things that can happen to that bag!
So below I’m sharing with you some of the latest totes from Marc by Marc Jacobs that are easy on the pockets…
my favorite – love the shape for Spring/Summer 2010
White cotton base with PVC laminate coating.
Gray/blue Miss Marc print.
Top handles.
21 3/4″H x 11″W x 13″D.
$188

One affordable luxury you can get your ladies this Valentines are the gorgeous Tory Burch cuffs, specifically, the Skinny Cuff with Tory Burch logo studs. This is definitely an affordable piece of luxury for just $95… and I only say this because cuffs from Louis Vuitton or Hermes would cost five times than this amount. While Tory Burch is no Louis Vuitton or Hermes, Tory Burch is a respected designer brand.
The moment I saw the black python cuffs at Tory Burch’s site decades ago, I fell in love with it. I wanted to get it. However, I decided to get Tory Burch’s signature product first – the Reva Ballerina flats. I also got the Nico tote which I have been checking out for years – literally. And so when it went on sale for more than half the price, I knew I had to get it. Now that I’m done with Tory’s shoes and bag, I am now planning on getting one of Tory’s cuffs.
I saw the gold and silver versions of the black python when I was with my two SIL’s the last time I visited Tory Burch at Highland Park Village in Dallas. Well, I have no budget so I had to pass… my younger SIL got the gold – which was definitely a great choice. It was really pretty!
But now, instead of getting the black python, I am liking the Spring/Summer version – the BLUE!
It’s so pretty! I love it! I just don’t know if I’m gonna get it or not. I still have to evaluate my wish list. HAHAHA!
But anyway, for the guys out there, if you are looking for a special piece of affordable luxury, Tory Burch is the way to go. For $95, this Tory Burch Skinny Cuff is your best bet!
It’s leather and it’s Tory Burch. This will be a perfect accessory for Spring and Summer.

This one I am so excited to share with you. Actually, I already went to Louis Vuitton last weekend to check it out – the latest wallet and affordable at that, the Louis Vuitton Josephine wallet. I was quite hesitant at first… thinking that the buttons were colored. So I decided to go to my fave LV boutique to see what it’s really like in real life. It was not bad at all. In fact, the red was already sold out at the main LV boutique. However I saw the red one in another style, the Emilie wallet, which I will share with you soon. When I went to the LV store inside Neiman’s though, they have the Josephine wallet in red and well, it’s still available online.
What’s even interesting about the Louis Vuitton Josephine wallet is that the coin pouch is removable. You can just take it with you if you’re on the run or you’re carrying a clutch. It’s like a flat pencil case. I won’t be taking it out though because that compartment alone looks cheap. But so what, it really is cheap compared to the $600-700 wallets that Louis Vuitton has. But needless to say, I’m already loving this wallet. It’s not as pretty as the other expensive wallets from Louis Vuitton but what made me love it even more is the price. It’s the cheapest long wallet they have. What do you think? Should I get it? LOL. I know this is supposed to be a Valentines Day gift idea post but instead, I’m asking your opinion on the wallet. LOL! But really, I’m eager to hear your comments.
What do you think of the Louis Vuitton Josephine Wallet? Share your thoughts!

Sorry for the lack of decent posts lately. I have been hibernating for the past few days. I got sick as I mentioned in a previous post and after that, I just felt like relaxing and taking a break from the computer. Nevertheless, my few days were spent window shopping (okay, I got a few but cheap thrills at Forever 21), medicine shopping (since our medical flex spending money was about to expire), and cleaning the room/house… oh, and planning for Hubby’s birthday party and planning future home purchases: dining set, media tower, poker table/lounge area, etc. So anyway, the main topic of my post really is about Valentines Day gift ideas. As you know, it’s just a few days away. And so, I’m going to feature a series of Valentines Day gift ideas that you will all love.
Let’s start with Tory Burch.
I know this is all too cliche. But come on! For the spirit of Valentines! Don’t you want to wear pajamas clad with hearts or red signature Tory Burch logo all over? The pajama sets retail for $125 and comes in a matching pouch. Now that is just too cute. And while you’re at it, how about $195 totes from Tory Burch in the same print? And if you’re broke like me (muhahaha) then why not just go for cosmetic cases in small and big sizes, $55 and $75 respectively. Guys, you can simply buy your lady her favorite chocolate in bite size pieces to fill that cosmetic bag. Another option would be to buy her different colors of nail polish and put it inside. That would be an extra plus!
xoxo
